Engr. Ezeonodo Theophilus Chinwike, a Chartered Engineer, has got a first degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt in 1998, trained as a management trainee in marine technical, marine procurement, marine operations, marine materials & logistics and Human Resources and marine administration from July 2001 to November 2003.
He has got over 17years top management experience in offshore service vessels and has doubled as offshore marine coordinator for Exxon-Mobil Producing Nigeria for Offshore Construction and Installation project (OCIP 1).
He obtained diploma in Marine Superintendency with accreditation in Marine Engineering from Lloyd’s Maritime Academy the United Kingdom as well as Certificate in Naval Architecture from same Academy. In 2012 he obtained a certificate in Ship Dry Docking Techniques from Royal Institute of naval Architects.
Currently certified by DNG-GL Hamburg as Internal auditor of ISM/ISPS/MLC as well as an Internal Auditor of an Integrated management system; ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. PHILIP PEREKEBI SLABOH is the Executive Director Sustainable Partnership Initiative for Development (SPID) – (known formerly as Development Initiators - DI) - (A Non-Governmental Organization) committed in promoting and encouraging Peace Building & Conflict Management , Youth Development & Empowerment, participatory development, advocates for good governance through community based & youth development activities/ programmes and projects that is result oriented and aimed at improving the condition of the people.
He is a Trainer and facilitator, Development Expert, Project Management Consultant and An Entrepreneur dedicated towards making impact in his work and lives of people (young and old) within and outside the shores of Nigeria. His desire to diversify his knowledge base, led him to build his capacity in areas of Development Planning, Participatory Rural Appraisal, Youth Development/ Empowerment - Resilience Building, Business management/Entrepreneurship, financial management, Project Management, Petroleum Resource Management, and Budget Analysis etc. within and outside the country.
He is the Bayelsa Project Coordinator for Serious Organized Crime (SOC) Prevent Project funded by the UK Home Office coordinated by TAG International (Former Torchlight Group) with Nigéria partners – ANEEJ, CLEEN FOUNDATION and NEEM FOUNDATION. The project is all about engaging Youths not to involve in crimes, building their Resilience and mindset change as well as creating alternative pathway from crime. It also involve stakeholders like Police Force and other sister agencies, CSOs and Community leadership/groups.
He was a team member that Facilitated Needs /Development Impact Assessment survey in SAGBAMA L.G.A for NDDC Demography Survey for Niger Delta Region Master plan. Also served as the Team Lead for NGOs working in KEFFES RDC for the Development of a sustainable livelihood Assessment and 3 years Community Driven Development Plan (CDDP) for CHEVRON GMOU host Communities in Bayelsa State. And facilitated and developed socio-economic, cultural and Physical input for Baseline Survey for the Planning of Egi Sustainable Development Master plan covering the 16 communities in Egi Clan, Rivers State for their Development Plan sponsored by ELF company.
He has been working with the European Union Intervention Programme in the Niger Delta region as an Expert in the Last 14 years in which he was the Team Lead/Infrastructure Engineer in Bayelsa State for EU-Micro Project Programme (EU-MPP9) & European Union Niger Delta Support Programme Component 4 (EU-NDSP4) programme. These programmes are geared toward building institutional capacities as well infrastructural development in the Niger Delta Region. His work with the European Union programme cuts across Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers and Abia state where he worked to add value to lives in the Niger Delta. He is also a consultant in the Education sector working on Development Partners Collaboration with the state Agency – Education Development Trust Fund (EDTF) in Bayelsa State with specific task to boost the education sector through partnership with development partners and donor agencies.
He is also the MD of Pephits Int’l Company, a Construction and Project Consulting based firm in Bayelsa. Where he has been actively involved in project supervision and management; in different areas of Building and Civil Engineering construction projects and water and sanitation within the Niger Delta, Development of Technical Reports, Project Development and Management adopting strategic management Planning approach to implementation in various Projects within the country.
His passion to see a society free from underdevelopment, led him to serve in various capacities in his state of Origin such as;
