Habiba Bello Maishanu
A reputable Non-Governmental organisation in Nigeria known for creation of awareness on negative emotions, positive coping skills, mental health as well as shaping public advocacy, awareness and policy related towards women’s health and hygiene known as Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation has appointed one of her stakeholders, Habiba Bello Maishanu as focal person for in Zamfara State, North West Nigeria.
According to the letter of appointment signed by Rev. Chukwudiebube Nwachukwu the Executive Director Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation, Habiba's appointment was predicated upon her commitment towards mental health awareness and women's health and hygiene for a greater society. Habiba will be leading the engagement on awareness on negative emotions, positive coping skills, resilient mindset and mental health as well as helping in shaping public advocacy, awareness and policy related towards women's health and hygiene in Zamfara State and its environs.
Habiba Bello Maishanu is a holder of BA(Ed) in Primary Education studies from Usman Danfodio University Sokoto State as well as NCE business studies from Waziri Umaru polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi. She is currently working with Zamfara State University (ZAMSUT) and also a part time lecturer with Federal College of Education (Technical) Gusau Zamfara state.
She has garnered a lot of teaching experience having served with Government Day Secondary School Damba Gusau, Government Girls Secondary School, Tudun Wada Gusau among others.
